Consultation has concluded

The engagement period for the 2022 Budget has now closed. You can see the results of the engagement in the Review the documents folder. These findings were shared with Council in preparation for their deliberations on Nov. 22 and 23. Watch the presentation here. (It begins at about 9:29 am). Council gave the 2022-2026 Financial Plan Bylaw 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading at their meeting on Dec.7, 2021. The bylaw will be considered for adoption at a Special Meeting on Dec. 14, 2021. The draft 2022 Corporate Business Plan and 2022-2026 Financial Plan are now available for you to review. Here is a list of the opportunities for you to get involved in this year's process. See the details for these events in the Key Dates section.

How do I participate?

  • Nov. 8 - Review the draft plans here or at penticton.ca.
  • Nov. 9 - Businesses are invited to attend an online info session. Sign up here.
  • Nov. 15 - Residents are invited to attend an online info session. Sign up here.
  • Nov. 17 - Attend Open House #1 at the PTCC between 4 pm and 7 pm.
  • Nov. 18 - Attend Open House #2 at the PTCC between 11 am and 2 pm.
  • Nov. 8-19 - Complete a feedback form below to share your views.
  • Nov. 22-23 - Feedback will be shared with Council at the start of Budget Deliberations.

In addition to discussing the 2022 Budget, Open House attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the following topics.

  • Civic Places and Spaces - Discuss plans to restore or replace City buildings.
  • North Gateway - Imagine a vibrant future for the lands around the SOEC.
  • Point Intersection - See the draft designs of the new Galt Avenue improvements including new intersections at Skaha Lake Road and South Main Street.
  • Lake-to-Lake Bike Route - See the draft designs of the continuation of the bike route from Fairview Road via Duncan Ave., Atkinson St. and Kinney Ave. to South Main Street.
