The Penticton Fire Department’s FireSmart team wants to hear from residents who live in the wildland-urban interface about how we can work together to protect their homes from wildfire risks. If you live in an area of the city that is near forests or wildland, you are invited to share your views by completing the feedback form below before August 30, 2021.
The local FireSmart team offers a property assessment program to help residents in this area identify specific actions they can take to reduce the risk of wildfire on their property and potential impact to their homes. Through the feedback form, the FireSmart team will determine the level of awareness of these services as well as identify opportunities to strengthen the program.
