Dreaming of more flight options out of Penticton Airport? The City of Penticton wants to hear from you as it builds a business case to expand air services in Penticton.

Your feedback will help identify service gaps and provide the data needed to approach commercial airlines.

Two surveys are now open, with one geared toward community members/leisure travellers and the second toward businesses. Please note the you will be redirected to Survey Monkey to share your feedback.

Penticton Airport is owned and operated by Transport Canada, located in the traditional territory of the SnPink’tn (Penticton Indian Band). It plays a critical role in the region, supporting over 200 jobs and serving as a hub for emergency response and disaster relief in the South Okanagan.

The City’s Economic Development department recognizes the economic benefits the airport provides to the community.


Community Survey

Penticton Airport (YYF) is an important link between the city, province and Canada. YYF wants to ensure it is meeting the air transportation needs of the community and region.

Your input to this important survey via Survey Monkey which will help provide vital direction regarding the future air service development of the airport.

Business Survey

The City of Penticton has launched a study to assess the demand for improved air service from Penticton’s Regional Airport (YYF) As part of this process, the City is inviting the business community to share feedback that will help assess demands.

The City plans to use this information to proactively approach commercial airlines with a strong business case.

You’re invited to fill out a survey via Survey Monkey which will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YYF2025. Your responses will be kept confidential, and the resulting report will only present information in the aggregate.

If you do not have exact figures for some questions, a best estimate is better than leaving the question blank. Please provide only one survey response for your organization.
