Consultation has concluded

Consultation on this project is now complete.

The City is entering the final stages of the process to complete a new Development Cost Charges Bylaw. This bylaw identifies the charges that will be applied to new residential, commercial and institutional developments at the time of subdivision or building permit application to share the costs of growth-related infrastructure with the developers. The City has prepared drafts of the charges (or rates) and a list of projects eligible for funding for discussion with stakeholders and the community prior to preparing the new bylaw. This site provides you with all of the information available on this topic as well as details on how you can get involved and share your feedback.
