Phase 2 - KVR Trail Strategy Feedback Form

The City of Penticton is developing a KVR Trail Strategy to shape the future of the KVR trail through Penticton! We are now entering the second phase of engagement, where we invite you to share your thoughts and ideas on defining our community’s vision, establish the project’s objectives, and identify additional features and amenities that could enhance the trail experience. Your feedback is essential and will be collected until December 12, 2025.

1.

Do you support the following shared vision statement?
"The Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail is more than a former railway corridor: it is a cultural backbone, axis, mobility corridor, and an emerging identity for the City of Penticton. KVR Trail advances Penticton’s goals for livable neighbourhoods, active transportation, and place-based development. The corridor is a legacy project that blends movement, memory, and meaning into a unified experience for all.”

Features and amenities

In Phase 1 Engagement, we heard loud and clear the need for more benches, picnic tables, shaded rest stops, washrooms, water stations and waste/recycling bins. These essentials will be addressed in the Strategy.

Now, we’d love your input on additional features that would make your trail experience even more enjoyable – and let us know what excites you most!
