Consultation has concluded
The City is considering renewing its Beach Vending licensing program for another three years and expanding it by creating vendor market hub(s) that could be implemented as early as the 2022 season. The hub concept would create a concentration of 4 to 8 vendors in a single location to create a unique experience for residents and tourists alike. (Review the Council Report and attachments for a description and possible locations.)
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee is being asked to make a recommendation to Council on whether or not to renew the program and to prepare a proposal for the vendor market hub. To inform their recommendation and Council’s decision, the City is inviting feedback from the community and conducting a random sample survey of members of the shapeyourcitypenticton.ca database.
