The City is reviewing the options for handling the solids from the advanced wastewater treatment plant to determine a plan for the future. The City is proposing to replace its Building Bylaw with a new version that incorporates changes to the BC Building Code and the new BC Building Act and BC Energy Step Code, as well as to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its permit applications and processes. The City is updating the 2015 SOEC Parking Study to gather current information about parking use at the complex and identify options to better manage available parking in the short term.
