The City of Penticton is working on a new, smarter version of the website www.penticton.ca. The current site has not kept up with advancements in technology and the information has become dated. With a new site, we have an opportunity to greatly improve access to data and online services for residents. These opportunities also surfaced through the work of the Smart Cities Challenge team earlier this year.

One of the first steps in the project is to gather feedback from the community on the current website and what the needs are for information and functionality. Residents are invited to complete a survey at shapeyourcitypenticton.ca to share their feedback. The survey will run from September 20 through to October 31. To encourage participation, the City is offering residents a chance to win their October utility bill. Residents who register on shapeyourcitypenticton.ca and complete the survey will be entered in a draw for one of two prizes of up to $100 towards the October 2018 utility bill on an active residential account.
